Kateri School Announces the End of School Uniforms

Following a Kateri In-School Parents Committee June 16, 2016 vote to keep or eliminate the school’s dress code a final vote decision has been met. Parents voted to no longer have a uniform type dress code at Kateri School.

As of the 2016-2017 school year students will no longer be required to wear the white or grey shirts and navy pants that have been part of the dress code that was enacted in 1998.

Kateri School Principal, Shelley Goodleaf-McComber clarified that “More information regarding acceptable school attire will be sent home in the coming weeks.”
